Relaxing and Winding Down

Relaxing and Winding Down
While most people have trouble getting wound up, excited or passionate about their lives, many people, especially A-type personalities, have difficulty winding down, which can lead to poor sleep, hypertension and strained relationships. It is important for you to spend some time in silence each day just relaxing and winding down to get in touch with yourself. Mahatma Gandhi, one of the 20th century's great leaders, would spend Sunday evening until Monday evening each week in complete solitude and silence to regroup and refocus for the week ahead. Gandhi proved to the world that this time for self allowed him to be more effective in the ensuing week than some of us may be in a month or even a year!
Amount of Sleep
